A Really Good Friday... =)

Today would be the best friday so far since I've started working at DBS. Happened to saw my buddy on the MRT when I board the train at Braddell, quite a rare chance considering the frequency and huge crowds of commuters in the morning.

The day passed quite slowly as I wasn't really focusing... After enduring the toilsome week of physical/mental work and emotional stress, its finally friday and I wasn't really in the mood to work. Was trying to implement an orchestration that can correlate messages, haiz, hopefully can get it working else I would be soooooo dead.

Around lunch time when Ivan and me was back from our toilet break, we bumped into Francis... We started to chat and asked if she is going for lunch. Realizing that she will be eating alone, she called up JL and asked her why she "pang seh" her.. In the end, she decided to meet JL at Lau Pa Sat for lunch and dragged us along. She was especially cute when she said "帮我留3个位子，还有那两个小弟弟" =)

Lunch was exceptionally good for once. The weather was great (slightly drizzling but very cooling), there weren't any fags tagging along, seats were already reserved for us and the best part is we get to lunch with Francis and JL together with a friend of JL. Both Francis and JL ordered 'Ban Mian' and she also treat us to drinks and "Guo Tie" JL looks cute when she tried to dip the Guo Tie in her soup and squeezing out the oil. Ha Ha...

Back in the office after lunch, Ivan took out his camera (Casio Ex Slim) and we started to take some candid shots. I think we created too much commotion and Francis... being kay-po as usual... popped in and asked us what we were doing. Thus we requested them to take pictures for us meantime grabbing the chance to take pics with them. Hee Hee... Below are some of the pictures. =Þ

Suppose to have some team celebration today, however, Guan Aik was on leave. As we were only informed around 6.30 and it was too late to plan anything. Not wanting to join them for drinks, Ivan and me went to one of the Japanese restaurant at International Plaza for dinner. Dinner was great! =D Although, most of the dishes were stuffs that I seldom eat, it was worth trying considering its recommendation from my buddy. Well, the food was really good and the ambience is great. Buddy, thanks for the treat! Really enjoyed the dinner... we ordered abit too much though... =Þ

Not knowing what to do after dinner, we walked around Juction 8 (to help digest the food too... ha ha) and I bought a cool blue Nalgene water bottle. Wanted to catch a movie titled "The Longest Yard"... but the timing of the show was 11.30pm. Well, something nice happen but I wun write it down cos it may seem abit funny... Anyway, just too bad, I've made the decision that its better we head home since there's not much we can do to kill time...
