Helen Keller Quote

Okay... This post is sort of a reply to one of my close fren, lytz. I'm not sure if you actually viewed back at all the comments you made, and see if there are any replies from me... So, I decided to create this post for your benefit. =Þ
With reference to the comment made for the post "The Miracle Worker": "http://yszat.blogspot.com/2006/08/continue.html"
Actually, towards the end of the movie event, the main speaker flashed some of the famous quotes made by Helen Keller and there was this particular one that I loved... and its actually the same one that you mentioned. I searched the net and it was close to what you remembered...
"... The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched... but are felt in the heart..."
There were actually 3 stanza to this quote as shown to us by the speaker, but somehow everyone only remembered this stanza and I couldn't find / remember the other 2 which is equally beautiful... Most probably I would have to read the books written by her to locate them. Personally, I wasn't really inspired by Helen Keller... perhaps its because the movie only portray Helen Keller when she was 12 years old when there was a breakthrough in her life. Rather, it was the unyielding efforts and determination of Anne Sullivan that really moved me.
Regarding the cheeky post script... Ahem... well, all I can say is that for me... some stuffs can only be shared to certain friends through conversation and not meant for everyone. I think it would be too awkard to add it inside my blog. =Þ
On second thoughts, I did miss out something that I initially wanted to jot down in my blog... and that was the "singing" session during the 1 1/2 day programme. It's sort of a finale thingy at the end of the whole programme when we sang songs like "Hero", "The Power of the Dream", "朋友" and many more songs. The most enjoyable song was "Its My Life" when everybody starts jumping around. The only time that I participated in mass dance was during the first 3 months orientation in YJC, I believed most of us were forced and it felt really foolish back then. However, this was nothing like it. In fact everyone was so "high", jumping in unison to the beat, singing while punching their fist in the air during the chorus. It was so fun...! =D
There's a graphology event organised by them in the month of September which I mostly will attend. It sounds really interesting and fun. So if you gals / guys are interested, feel free to join me. Its limited seating though. =)

With regards to the Helen Keller quote: -
Ah i knew it was "touched", not "heard"! I actually remembered it - was just thinking "felt by the heart" could equate to "touched"; so I thought I might've remembered wrongly, and that the word might've been "heard" instead.

hahahahaa... "you.uuu... doing that thing you do.oo.ooo..." ahahahh those were the days.. silly yes haha, but fond memories really.. i actually quite enjoyed it then! haha! Hey but i didn't know u were part of it too! eek. My failing memory. :0

hmm "cheeky post"? hehe.. not bad, you know what I was referring to ehehee... Yah, I was just teasing you.. Of cos you didn't have to write about everything, or "every little detail".. This is your journal - you have the sole right of deciding what to write in here.. no one else can, or should, tell you otherwise. :)

In fact, this is what I really like about journals - sharing and reading about individual perspectives, which will always be unique. :)

Ha ha... "That Thing Yo Do"! Yea, it was so silly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I rememebred that your dance partner is Raymond. =)

Ha ha, yah... my journal indeed. Actually there are tons of stuffs that I wish to write down for me to remember in the future... but somethings are just not appropriate to be listed here, and sometimes I'm just lazy to blog everything. Perhaps the more significant stuffs will deserve a slot here. =)
