Thursday night...

The whole week was pretty much the same except for tonight cos Ivan and me decided to catch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire today... Hmm, rare chance I would say.

We booked tickets for the 8.50pm show at Bishan... It was still early after work as we headed for dinner at Scotts Foodcourt. After dinner, Ivan pampered himself with ice-cream from Häagen-Dazs. =Þ Did some window shopping at Taka and Wisma... went to Zara where he showed me a cool jacket priced at $675, Guess, Topman and finally Flesh Imp where Ivan bought a jeans... Best part was when the sales girl asked if he was above 18 years old... hee hee, that would make my day man... Bumped into a good old friend Bang Zhen and chat for a while, coincidentally I just sent him a Birthday Card the day before, which he received on Saturday (26 Nov 2005) and msged me that he was touched... ha ha. Too bad there weren't enough time to do shopping... and had to leave for Bishan at around 8.15pm...

The movie was fantastic as I always liked withcraft, wizardry magical stuffs... It lasted for about 2 1/2 hours... although not all the scenes were interesting, it was peppered with comedy... and small surprises in two of the 'darker' characters... Hmm, lost? Ha ha... Anyway, the movie got better as the plot unfolds.

Doing some back post for the past week events... Couldn't really find the mood and time to blog, or should I say I was too lethargic for the past few days...

It has been quite a while since I attended church... the last time being the week I went for my reservists. An urge welling inside me was telling me I must attend today's service... Somehow, my habit of joking about Lucifer since the day I watched "Excorcism of Emily Rose" doesn't seems that funny anymore... getting more devilish and must contain it before losing control. Ha ha.

During the service, Ivan msged me and asked if I was there... scolded me douche and jio me for dinner with his parents. First time I talked to him at Trinity when he came up to the balcony seats and find me. His parents drove us to a Japanese Restaurant along Thomson Road. Felt abit paiseh... because the dishes he ordered were mostly chicken cos I dun/seldom eat red meat... Anyway, the meal was really great. Thank you =) And we went for dessert at a French Restaurant... forgot the name of the shop but it serves excellent crepe. Really had a wonderful night and dinner. =D

Sunday was comparatively short compared to other weekends... Most of the time were spent playing games... Went to a Salon to dye my hair in the afternoon. =Þ

Reached home around 7pm... was tired but still went out to Orchard to buy something... took a cab there as I just missed the bus and was too lazy to take the MRT. Orchard road was brightly lit with the christmas lightings and decorations... Man, Christmas (my favourite holiday) is coming... always anticipating the love and fun for this festive season. Time to do some shopping, ha ha. Throughout the ride, I Had an interesting chat with the taxi driver. =)

Was on the way home when I bumped into Kelvin on the train... actually he saw me first. Hee hee. We went for a drink at Toa Payoh and I had my favourite Kaya Toast and Ice-Milo =Þ

The Exorcism of Emily Rose

"One, two, three, four, five, SIX!"... Went to watch "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" with one of my colleague today. Honestly, speaking, I've never like to watch horror movies in cinema cos I'm scared. Ha ha, I just feel that its a waste of money... to spend money to scare myself. However, I sort of enjoyed this movie... Its not bad. =)

Went for a drink at NYDC after the movie before we call it a day...

"Z....."

Today is the first day since weeks that I never played a single match of dotA... spent most part of the day 'recuperating' and settling my computer, somehow I got a feeling its going to desert me soon... Ha ha. Was listening to some songs of a different genre recommended by a friend, some rock music by 'Green Day', 'Simple Plan' and 'My Chemical Romance'... Just wish to be different today... stopped looping the only song on my player and load all my audio files into the library for it to shuffle... msg 'hi' to a few of my friends whom I've haven't seen for quite some time...

There is this freaking chio and sweet ger working at Toa Payoh Cd-Rama... Petite, tan with jet black long hair behind the counter... First saw her on 22nd October after my first book-out during my first week reservists when I went to purchase Jay's new album Pre-sale voucher. Since then, I have been finding myself making frequent trips there on weekend nights. However, today I saw her at Popular instead... Haiz, too bad her name tag was covered by her hair, only managed to catch a glimpse of the first letter, "Z"...

Have to work tomorrow again... Hmm... o.O

Long Week... Korean Cuisine

Thursday

Feeling abit sian and boring after work, but I was glad that I met up with Kelvin and Tess for a drink at Coffe Club after work while they are discussing some 'serious' stuffs... Took a walk around Orchard area, shopping for some stuffs, and played arcade at Toa Payoh for a while before heading home.

Friday

Finally the end of the week. This week seems to be unusally long due to the 'string' of holidays the week before making this week seemingly long... Or perhaps there are other reasons which I shall not list out here. Went for dinner with Ivan at Cuppage's Food Court and had a short pool session there. Played a total of 8 games... Ha ha, your pool has improved alot, think very soon you qie me already. Somehow, I really enjoyed to break the ball... makes me feel good and is a good source to vent my energy, ha ha. =)

Was online at home at night when Yvonne msged me. Ha ha, its been a long time since you last disturbed me, hee hee... But it was nice to hear from you and was actually happy when I found out that Rick was using my name to crap when trying to 'siam' you... cos it feels good to be remembered... Ha ha =Þ

Something interesting that caught my eye when I was in the server room... guess what its for. =Þ

Hmm... shit on my blog. Ha ha.

Saturday

It has been a long time since I spent my Saturday like today... really enjoyed doing what I like. =) Was at home when Domenic jio me out. We met 4.30 pm at Funan. I took a cab down and it was only when the driver reached Yio Chu Kang then did I realize he got the destination wrong. He thought I wanted to go Woodlands... (Hmm, does Woodlands and Funan sounds similiar? Maybe my pronunciation wasn't that clear)

We walked around the area scouting for toys... Ha ha, just realize he is also a avid toy collector... He enjoyed collecting figurines of comic characters whereas I'm a transformer fanatic. However, our aim of going to Funan was to recce for iPod Nano and iPod Video. Personally preferred iPod Nano as its more sleek and compact but he keep persuading me to buy iPod video together with him... ha ha. Was walking around and bumped into my boss, and he was eager to show his son to me. Made our trip down to Sim Lim Square to look for games before we decided to have dinner at Taka...

I was kinda expecting a queue when we reached Crystal Jade Korean Cuisine at Taka since its a weekend night. True enough, we had to wait for 20 minutes so I suggested going for my favourite $1 ice-cream. =Þ Was queuing for the ice-cream when a caucasian lady with her kid was trying to cut my queue. Usually I cant be bothered or would be kind enough to let them cut my queue... However, I skipped my lunch and a hungry man is an angry man... worst still, she stepped on my shoes while trying to force her way in pissing me off. Without hestitation, I made a comment on how I HATE people who cut queue and asked her NOT to STEP on my shoes. Well, it caught her by surprise and attention from the passers-by. Hmm... o.0

The Korean food was bbq style... though pricey, the food was great especially the marinated chicken fillet. Yummy! =D Furthermore, they provided free refill of the side dishes. Somehow got used to the taste of kimchi and learnt from Domenic that there are actually more than 200 types of kimchi. Really enjoyed the dinner... felt like sleeping after it... Ha ha... =)

Many things in my mind that I wish to write out... personal problems and thoughts, stuffs that all my friends told me, comments that I wish to let people know... However, its not appropriate to write them out and there's no one or venue to vent these accumulated stuffs... Haiz, ha ha.

Trouble has been brewing since the day I've started work... I've learnt quite a deal of stuffs and learnt to be mature in several ways. Still, I realize that I don't like working in an office environment where I'm cramped in a place or cubicle and having to deal with people... Also, some colleagues (I wouldn't classify them as friends as yet) blamed me for being too passive when dealing with people. Although its true, but I enjoy who I am and I hope they grant me the freedom to be who I am and do not blame me for not behaving the way they want. Each individual is different and unique in his/her own way... If you treat someone as a friend, then there must exists the element of friendship... then I'm sure the ability to accomodate each other's habits is a reason good enough for accepting each other's personality... I dun go around asking people to change and I'm sure most people do not do that too... unless its for their own good. I admit that I am bias and treats only my closer friends better and that's what I enjoy doing... but who doesn't? Ha ha... haiz...

Really looking forward to the next holiday to take a break, a break from work, a break from the routine life, a break from everything... I think a vacation after the whole project would be great... somewhere where I can really relax and enjoy. Hee. =Þ

Life has been the same day in day out, even with the string of holidays, life has been practically the same with the usual routine of activities.

Read a journal of a close fren of mine and realize the stuffs that she has been going through for the past few days... So sorry that I couldn't be there. I just hope that you can get over it soon and there's really no point to be bothered by him. Ha ha... yup, I read your journal okay, dun blame me for always not reading your blog. =) I would like to quote a sentence from her that I wish to share with all of you. "... Never take advantage of a person's trust in you. Once broken, it is difficult to mend. With trust issues, there is hardly room for regret and mistakes. Do you agree? ... "

It was around 10 plus when Ivan msged me and jio me for supper. Ha ha, he once said it in uni yr3 but I guessed this is the first time we went out for supper. He drove me to Thomson and we had prata there. I had my Dinosaur and he ordered Tea Chino... Ha ha... =Þ Its been a while since we hang out and chat and I predicted that for tonight's match, Man Utd will win Chelsea. Hope my prediction is wrong though... =)

Have to work tomorrow again... Haiz...

Movie...?

Just another day that passed... I guess its time to make a decision.

Domenic called and jio me for a movie... 11.55pm at Yishun 10. Reached at about 11.30pm for a 11.55pm show. When I reached, I was stun by the sight of ABNN. They were everywhere, blending into the silhouette of the night... I've long forgotten that they've started screening Tamil shows... Its been a long time since I come to Yishun. A familiar place that has somehow become alien to me... a place where I've spent some of my most interesting 4 years there. Nothing much has changed though...

I waited at the BK at Yishun 10 only to realize I was totally dua by Domenic... Ha ha, Called him several times but no reply. Finally when he returned the call, it was already around 12.30 am... He fell asleep and did not hear the 9 missed calls. But anyway, even if he came on time, we wouldn't have been able to watch the show too, cos the timing was at 11.35pm. Ha ha...

Well, he asked us to hang around while he make his way down and treat us for supper as an apology. Went for supper, chat and chill out before he send me home... Eh, looking forward to go Malaysia for some shopping... remember to jio me...! =Þ

Wow, its already 3 plus in the morning... must go and sleep soon cos gonna have game in the morning. Looking forward to tomorrow dotA. Ha ha. =)

November's Chopin

Suppose to go for accupuncture today, however, as I reached the clinic... the doctor was away for an urgent overseas trip... had to make an appointment next week... Though I had to postpone my treatment, somehow I'm glad to be spared from those 'needles', ha ha. =) Had breakfast with my parents and accompanied them to the market... Man, its been a long time since I last went to the market with them...

Went to Bugis to meet up with Kelvin in the afternoon... Had lunch there before proceeding to his company. Bought myself a plan before I head back home.

On the way home, picked up Jay's new album at CD-Rama. This album is simply fantastic... and generally all the songs are nice.
